SMF^®02 can be used to machine steel, hardened or high-alloy steel, nickel-based steel, gray cast iron, titanium and many other materials for shaping operations, which are either cutting or non-cutting. When machining non-ferrous metals, we recommend the use of our SMF^®02 BM, which has been specially developed for this purpose.

SMF^®02 can be used in the field of metal working for drilling, turning, cutting, milling and many other applications. The product can also be used for grinding.

SMF^®02 has excellent cooling properties and often allows higher cutting speeds with longer tool life. The machines and work pieces are protected by an integrated corrosion additive. When using SMF^®02, the surfaces of the workpieces do not get sticky or oily. The machines, devices and the working environment remain clean. This results in considerable cost savings in machine cleaning.

SMF^®07 Plus

SMF^®07 Plus is an oil and solvent-free metalworking fluid for heavy metal cutting, deep-hole drilling and broaching, which fulfills further positive properties:

• dermatologically and toxicologically tested
• odorless
• excellent cooling properties
• non-dangerous goods

SMF^®07 Plus is a universal product and can be used with almost all metals and materials (with restrictions also for aluminum). The product is specially designed for the machining of high-alloyed, heat-resistant, rustproof and stainless steels, titanium, titanium alloys, chromium nickel alloys, e.g. Inconel, Hastelloy, non-ferrous metals and many other materials and metals, but especially for those materials and metals which apply high to higher standards on the machining processes.
The product is used for drilling, turning, milling, honing, sawing, cutting and deep hole drilling.

High coolant pressures, ultrafiltration or the use of centrifuges for coolant purification present no problem for our products. A low drag-out rate of the metalworking fluid is achieved through the good draining behavior of our products. Due to the modified surface properties of the product a faster drying of the surfaces in the machine and on the workpieces, is achieved.

SMF^®07 ALU is the most additive product of the SMF® family.

It is used wherever a strong non-ferrous metal protection is required against staining and electro-corrosion, or during deep-hole drilling, broaching and slotting. Also, suitable for drilling and tapping aluminum forging alloys (requirement is the use of suitable tools). Can also be used for all other materials and machining.

All other specifications are similar to the other SMF^® products.

AMF^®07 is an oil and solvent-free metalworking fluid to machine metals, which are especially used in the aircraft industry, and fulfills further positive properties:

AMF^®07 is a universal product and can be used for machining Inconel, Hastelloy, Aeralloy, stainless steels, titanium, chromium nickel alloys, aluminum alloys as well as carbon fiber reinforced composite and many other materials. The product is used for milling, drilling, turning, grinding, cutting and many other applications. AMF^®07 can, of course, also be used for the machining of plastics and non-ferrous metal alloys.

It has excellent cooling properties and often allows higher cutting speeds with longer tool life.
